For all of you stopping by from Farmhouse 40 & the blog hop, I am so glad you are here! And to my regular readers, you are in for a treat! I have teamed up with 20 amazing ladies as part of the My Home Style series. Each day a group of talented bloggers will share their home style & ideas on how to get that look in your home. At the end of each post you will find a list of participating blogs, so hop on over to the next one and share this with your friends!
As part of the series, we were each asked to select three words to describe our style. My style at home is clean, simple, and traditional. I really believe that there is something so inviting, so restful, and so rejuvenating about a simple, beautiful home. I work hard to incorporate those elements into my own home, as well as those of my clients. Most importantly my home is a place where I can relax, reset, and just be me!
Some elements you will find in almost every room of my home:
- A soft neutral palette
- Boxwood topiaries and fresh cuts from my backyard
- A mix of high & low, modern & traditional
- Varying textures (cowhide, linen, glass, wood)
- Brass accent pieces (hardware, accessories, pictures frames, lamps)
- A white backdrop (walls, furniture, and/or bedding)
Here are some shots of some of my favorite spaces in our home, and the ones that I feel really reflect my style well.
You can get this look too! Here are some ideas to achieve this clean & simple look in your own home:
How would you describe your style at home? I’d love to hear how you’d describe your own home style in three words! And if you enjoyed this post, please share it with your friends!
