2021 Clutter-free Gift Guides: Stocking Stuffers

At our house, stockings come at the very end and are filled to the brim with goodies. And every once in awhile there is a diamond (a really big gift) at the bottom. What does your family do? For this gift guide, I’ve put high and low priced items for him and her, as well as a few kid and baby ideas. You will see a few items from my previous gift guides too (check those out here). I hope this will kickstart ideas for your stockings.

SOAPBOX: I do feel like this is where the spending and the clutter start to really add up. Try to think of things not just to fill the stocking but that the person can actually use and enjoy. Here are some quiestions to ask:

  • What are their favorite candies?

  • What is something they use daily that I could upgrade for them? For example, hand cream or face cream or body lotion.

  • What is something you always need and never can find? For me, thats hair ties and keys. Or maybe a mask lanyard or eye glasses lanyard or a pair of nice running socks.

  • For kids, can you consider replacing some of their art supplies that got used up throughout the year? Think markers, play-doh, dot stickers. I love this list from Busy Toddler.

  • Do your teenagers need gas cards, gift cards to chik-fil-a and starbucks or target?

// Makeup Sponges - Who doesn’t need to replace their makeup sponges at the end of the year? recently bought these minis and like them even more than the larger size. I feel like they help me get better coverage.

// Aesop Hand Cream - my favorite hand cream and a bit of a splurge. Such a nice treat!

// My Favorite Hair Clips - I bought these in the spring and am wearing one right now. Love love love these and so glad they are back in style.

// Picture Hanging Kit - This was in my stocking two years ago and I thuoght it was genius. So simple, usable, and practical. //

// Beanie - to keep you warm. Each boy in our family has onem.

// Ear Buds - a crowd please if you are an iphone lover

// Wine stopper - I thought this one was so cute for the wine lover or golf player.

// Stacking Cups - such a cute little gift for baby

// Key Finder Fobs (life savers!) - I can’t tell you how many time this has saved me. If you or a family member are a chronic key loser, these are a must.

// Chalk Markers - If you follow me, then you know I love a chlak marker. These are the easiest way to label things quickly. I keep one in my kitchen drawer at all times.

// The Best Face Cream - My newest luxury find. This face cream is definitely a splurge and is on my list for this year.

// Hand Cream for Him - Simply the best hand cream for men. And most won’t buy it for themselves. The perfect gift!

// Kid’s Tape Measure - Saw this and thought it was SO CUTE. And I would love if Tommy stopped stealing mine.

// Bin Clip Labels - My favorite bin labels from teh conttainer store. They are a bit pricey so fun to receive as a gift. Great for labling baskets and bins that are in plain site since tehy are pretty to look at.

// Pill Organizer - No, you are not too young for this. I’ve had mine for 2 years and use it everyday. It makes it easy for me to know I’ve taken my vitamins and travels well.
