3 (Unconventional) Ways to Keep your Countertops Clear

Counter-top clutter is a real issue. I get it, too. Kids and parents alike fly in the door and use the counters as a dumping ground for all of their stuff. It is easy to feel stressed from the second you walk in the door when you are greeted by a sea of clutter covering your flat surfaces. Here are three ways I like to combat this type of clutter:

  1. Place paper towels under the sink

  2. Commit to putting dishes in the dishwasher rather than letting them pile up in the sink and on the counter

  3. Sort mail when you come in the door. Having a small trash bin next to the area you sort and folders for each family member goes a long way in taming hte paper clutter.

I would love to hear what you do to keep the counter-tops clear in your house. And if you have implemented any strategies as a result of this post please share!

See it. (Declutter) it. Enjoy it.
