Here is EXACTLY what you need to do:

  1. Order THESE PRODUCTS from my Amazon shop:

  • File Box (according to your number of children, and consider one for yourself as well)

  • Label Maker

  • Hanging Files

  • File folders

  • Label Tape: White & Clear

2. Once your fabulous products arrive, here’s whatcha do:

  • Using hanging files and white label tape, you are going to create two broad sections:

    • Current Year

    • Past/Future Years

3. Using file folders and clear label tape, make the following labels and apply to the folders:

  • Grade your child in currently in through 8th grade

  • If child is younger than kindergarten, use age 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 then Kindergarten

  • Current Year suggested files: Homework, Graded work, Art, Awards, Permission Slips

  • Past/Future Year files = age and grade folders

4. How to use:

  • As child brings home work, file in appropriate section in the “current year” files

  • At end of a season (school year), review all items in current year files. Sort and keep the best. Put items you would like to treasure in the appropriate grade/age in the past/future years hanging file section
