I know it can feel vulnerable and honestly sometimes depressing to try on swimsuits. Especially if you’ve been working hard to diet and exercise but still aren’t where you hope to be. Here are a few things I did this year to make it more enjoyable:

• Try on suits at home, alone!

• consider a spray tan

• lean your mirror to against the wall at an angle

• decide now what you can’t change: my thighs are my thighs, my chest size is my chest size, etc.

• go in with the attitude of finding what works for your body now (not the body you want!)
