Toddler Closet Transformation

I am so excited to unleash all the details around Tommy’s big boy closet. I think it came out so dog-gone cute. Tommy gave it two paws up and thinks its the ulti-mutt closet for a big-brother-to-be. Are you catching the theme here?

When I started this closet re-do, the closet had two sliding doors and 1970s plank shelves that were super deep. We removed a layer of the shelves, added a fun spotted print to the back wall and black, white, and wood baskets for clothing. Watch the full transformation here:

The Details:

We used black y-weave baskets with dry-erase labels on the top shelf to corral blankets, back-stock diapers, size up and size down clothing bins and sheets. For the lower shelf, we used white bins with solid wood tops so shoes can easily be stored on top and in view. (We also wanted to create an option to stack bins later on if needed. Lastly, we used matching wood hangers in children’s size for hanging items.
