Sharing your favorites for the month of April including all of your picks from the WAY DAY sale, the best denim shorts of all time, and a cookbook for the mom (ahem, me) who isn’t really a chef. I’m so glad y’all enjoy the West Elm dupes as much as I am enjoying them in my own home. I can tell we are all gearing up for summer too with all the love our favorite denim shorts got this month too. 2. Rustic Modern Desk
You may remember this desk from Ty’s office in our last house. It’s show stopper and was on sale during the WAY DAY sale. Keep your eyes peeled because it goes on sale pretty regularly. We love the size and finish of this desk. Plus it looks great in the center of the room or against a wall as its finished on all sides.

3. The BEST Garage Shelving
Another organizing win from our last house, these shelves take the cake. Sleek, durable and affordable. Can’t recommend thes enough for your semi-permanent garage storage needs. Read my whole spiel on garage shelving here.
4. My favorite neutral rug of all time (and yours too!)
If you are in the market for a good neutral and transitional area rug this is my favorite one to recommend. We’ve spilled everything from wine to dog you know to baby spit upa nd it all comes out so easily. Plus, its just a beautiful rug.

From my daily what’s for dinner posts, I’ve been cooking recipes from this cookbook and they’ve all been a hit. What’s more suprising is that I’m actually enjoying making them. A few of my favorites: Sunday Chicken, Mom’s Pot Roast, and Chicken Tikka Masala.
