SOS: Jenn’s Bathroom

Welcome back to the SOS! Blog Series. So far we’ve organized Beth’s Kitchen, Kayla’s bathroom cabinet and Sydney’s pantry. This week I am helping out Jenn in her bathroom. Specifically, we are looking at the cabinet under her sink. Do you have a space like this? I like to use a similar tetris of goods under each sink. When you have a blank slate like this one, containment is key. I connected with Jenn through instagram and I am so delighted to help her with her with this space. Here is where started:

For Jenn’s bathroom, I wanted to create a containement solution. I didn’t know exactly what items she had but as a fellow lady, I did have an idea. This space is relatively large which is awesome. For her space, I decided to provide a mixture of drawers, open storage and a lazy susan to eliminate that pesky middle bar obstacle and maximize space. Here’s what I am thinking:

Suggested Products:

  • When you have a really large space, you can use products to create a more custom and built-in look to contain your things.

  • A lazy-susan turtable is a great way to navigate around a tricky space.

  • Use broad categories for bathroom items like Hair, Body, Lotions, Facila Personal Care and Travel.

Do you have an organizing dilemma you need help with? If you have a space you’d like to have considered for a future “SOS” post, email me one picture and a short list of your overall concerns. Measurements are helpful too! Submit your spaces to organizingnashville@gmail.com
