#OrgNash21 Day Challenge (Video #6 - The Junk Drawer)

Okay, you know the drill. So far, we’ve tackled the organizing process, tested the process on our bookshelves, created a charging station, drop zone AND learned to meal plan in 5 minutes each week. By popular demand, we are de-junking that famous drawer today.

Here’s how to execute this #napsizeproject:

  1. Identify ALL of your junk drawers and decide on ONE designated location/area. Maybe its one drawer or two but try to keep things in close proximity.

  2. Take everything out of all drawers and take the opportunity to wipe down the drawers.

  3. Sort things into three piles: Keep, Donate, Trash.

  4. Organize by grouping like items together. Before returning items to the drawer, test placement of drawer organizers for a jenga-like fit. Then place items back into drawer in a logical fashion, using the appropriate size drawer bins to corral your items.

  5. (Keep) Neat by labeling the bottom of the bins so everyone knows where it goes when an item is removed. If the drawer starts to look, well, “junky” do a quick edit using the steps above.
